INPUT in the 2005 Deloitte Technology Fast 500

Attributes its 533 percent revenue growth to the strong loyalty of its over 1,100 active member companies in the INPUT Network

Reston, VA – October 19, 2005 INPUT, the authority on government business, today announced that it ranked Number 280 on the 2005 Deloitte Technology Fast 500, a ranking of the 500 fastest growing technology companies in North America.  Rankings are based on revenue growth over five years: from 2000-2004 INPUT grew 533 percent.

INPUT's President Peter Cunningham credits the loyalty of its over 1,100 active member companies and more than 30,000 individual members in the INPUT Network with the company’s revenue growth over the past five years.  “Our members trust us to help them win more than $50 billion in government contracts each year,” said Cunningham.  “We will continue our strong growth by providing our members high quality information, state-of-the-art software and services to help them succeed in the government markets.”

“Achieving sustained revenue growth of 533 percent over five years is a tremendous achievement,” said Tony Kern, deputy national managing principal of Deloitte’s Technology, Media & Telecommunications industry practice.  “INPUT’s phenomenal growth puts it in select company.”

The Fast 500 list is compiled from Deloitte’s 15 regional entrants must have had 2000 operating revenues of at least $50,000 USD or $75,000 CD for the United States and Canada, respectively, and 2004 operating revenues of at least $1 million USD or CD.

Entrants must be headquartered in North America and must be a “technology company,” defined as a company that owns proprietary technology that contributes to a significant portion of the company’s operating revenues; or devotes a significant proportion of revenues to the research and development of technology.  Using other companies’ technology in a unique way does not qualify.
