The 5th Annual State and Local Procurement Symposium was held in Seattle, Washington from May 13-14, 2010. The theme of the conference was 'State and Local Procurement in Challenging Times.' An array of government officials and prominent legal minds came together to address various concerns and challenges in the realm of procurement. Major topics discussed throughout the conference included the obligations that come with ARRA funds, technology in procurement, fraud claims, bid protests, and state and local efforts to 'go green.'
