Mr. Krouse provides strategic research, analysis, and reporting of the public sector IT market, with an emphasis on state and local market developments, trends in public IT applications, market forecasting, regulatory oversight and legislative affairs, opportunity analysis, and competitive analysis.

Prior to joining INPUT, Mr. Krouse was the Director of Marketing and Business Development for American Management Systems (AMS) eCommerce Solutions, in the ASP hosted environment for B2G and B2I market segments. AMS buysense stands as the premier eProcurement application in the State, Local and Institutional markets.

Before AMS, James led market research, product development, project management and marketing efforts as a Vice President with Citibank Electronic Financial Services, Inc., helping to establish Citibank as the market leader in Government EFT and associated IT applications.

Mr. Krouse's extensive career in government services began as a Policy Analyst, later becoming the Washington Director and Federal Liaison, for the National Association of State Auditors, Comptrollers and Treasurers (NASACT), leading national State Government efforts in research and representation of government financial policy, IT development, and eGovernment applications.

Mr. Krouse is a certified Government Financial Manager and eCommerce Technician. He holds a bachelor's degree in Marketing Management from Virginia Tech University and an MBA from The George Washington University.
