Mike Goodrich if the Director of Administration for Arlington Economic Development. As Administrative Officer, he is responsible for Department contracts, human resources, all financial matters and information technology. Managing a budget of $4.2 million, he supports the Department’s goals of place-making and economic sustainability. The most significant challenge facing Arlington is the loss of 17,000 jobs and approximately 4 million square feet of leased office space, due to the 2005 Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) Commission decisions.

A 12 year career with Arlington County, Mike has worked in the parks and recreation area, public safety and now economic development. A native of Northern Virginia, he holds a Bachelors and Masters degree from Virginia Tech in Public Administration.
