Christopher T. David
Chief Technology Officer for Arlington County, Virginia
Christopher T. David is the Chief Technology Officer for Arlington County, Virginia - host to the Pentagon and Reagan National Airport. As CTO, he heads daily operations of the County’s Department of Technology Services which includes oversight of Arlington’s data, voice, and video infrastructure, enterprise data, and County applications management. His major focus areas are business continuity strategies and leveraging the County’s technical investments to enhance E-Gov services. As an adjunct instructor at The American University, Christopher specializes in human factors in technology, multimedia research, and collaborative technologies. He currently is serving on the Program Advisory Board for Security 2006 and has previously served on the IT planning committee for the National Association of Counties and the Program Advisory Board for Enterprise Architecture.
Prior to joining the County in 2001, Christopher served as AVP for Information Technology at the Association of American Medical Colleges.
A native Washingtonian, he holds a B.A. in experimental psychology from The George Washington University and a M.S. in Information Systems from The American University.
