Austin J. Yerks

President, Defense Division
CSC

Mr. Yerks is president of CSC’s Defense Division and responsible for the largest business unit in the North America Public Sector. The Division supports all of the company’s defense clients: Army, Navy/Marine Corps, Air Force and all other defense agencies, high performance computing, and modeling and simulation business. The Defense Division consists of more than 8,000 people and sales in excess of 2.5 billion dollars annually. Prior to this assignment, Mr. Yerks was president of CSC’s federal business development organization responsible for all business development and strategic marketing oversight for the seven operation business units.

Mr.Yerks has been a senior executive in the federal marketplace for over 25 years, and is known for his technology vision and solving the most difficult client challenges. Mr.Yerks is a member of the board of directors for AFCEA, NDIA and GEIA which are three of the largest associations that support the federal market. He is active in community affairs and supports fund-raising for local schools and the Fairfax Hospital. Mr.Yerks holds a master's degree in business administration from the University of Miami and a Bachelor of Science degree from the United States Military Academy at West Point. Mr.Yerks served nine years in the United States Army.
