Mr. Daniel G. Mintz currently serves as the Chief Information Officer for the U.S. Department of Transportation. As CIO, Mintz serves as the principal advisor to the Secretary on matters involving information resources and information services management, and provides leadership in using information technology to achieve the department’s goals and objectives.

Mr. Mintz will address:

  • His role as Chief Information Officer for the U.S. Department of Transportation
  • Upcoming technology opportunities, and a status update on major technology investments within the Department

The event will also feature Mr. John Slye, Principal Analyst for INPUT. He will identify major technology investments within the U.S. Department of Transportation and top opportunities for technology vendors in 2008.
