Mr. Vance Hitch is the Chief Information Officer of the U.S. Department of Justice. He is responsible for leading and implementing the effective and efficient acquisition and management of information technology across the Department. He manages the Department's $2.25 billion information technology program, overseeing management, acquisition, and integration of the Department's information resources. His oversight includes strategic planning, policy, capital planning, systems development, telecommunications, information security data management, enterprise architecture, e-government, and user computing.

Mr. Hitch will address:

• His role as Chief Information Officer for the U.S. Department of Justice
• Upcoming technology opportunities, and a status update on major technology investments within the Department

The event will also feature Mr. Brian Haney, Sr. Vice President, Member Services, for INPUT. He will identify major technology investments within the U.S. Department of Justice and top opportunities for technology vendors in 2008.
