Dale Meyerrose
Hear Dale W. Meyerrose discuss IT initiatives and activities in the intelligence community, including enterprise architecture, information sharing and joint ventures with the DoD and other agencies. He will address key challenges and how the private sector can get involved in working with the intelligence community to find solutions.
Congress established Mr. Meyerrose's position, CIO of the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI), in 2004 as part of the Intelligence Reform Terrorism Prevention Act, to establish oversight of intelligence community's IT initiatives. His four principal responsibilities include:
- Managing activities related to the information technology infrastructure and enterprise architecture of the entire intelligence community
- Procurement approval authority over IT for the intelligence community
- Directing and managing all IT procurement for the intelligence community
- Directing the IT research and development activities for the intelligence community
