Verna Hill

Verna V. Hill, senior analyst, Federal Information Services, is responsible for the quality control of INPUT’s Organization Charts and Contacts database. This includes stringent checks of organization charts, ensuring accuracy and uniform presentation. She has more than 30 years of experience as a project manager and security analyst professional, and has an extensive background in IT and telecommunications implementation and network vulnerability resolution.

Prior to her employment with INPUT, Hill was a security analyst charged with reviewing all certification and accreditation packages submitted to the federal government. She also provided technical guidance for security mitigation practices, and met with the Defense IA/Security Accreditation Working Group to discuss mid- to high-level security issues in the federal government arena.

Previously, Hill worked for several major telecommunications companies and various federal and state entities. She managed multimillion-dollar government and commercial contracts simultaneously, maintaining timelines and budgets. She is also adept at coordinating and managing geographically-dispersed teams.

Hill holds a Bachelor of Science in telecommunications engineering from George Washington University. She has an active top secret security clearance and is working on her Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification.
