Sarah Childers

Events Coordinator

As the events coordinator for Marketing Communications and Events, Sarah Childers manages all aspects of pre- and post-event logistics, including budgets, promotion, registration, presentations, surveys, evaluation, and lead generation. She is also responsible for the production and promotion of webinars, and oversees the corporate events calendar, which includes speaking engagements, industry functions, and other INPUT-related events. She also supports the Channel Events Sales team, tracks business-to-business bartering arrangements and benefits with partners, and maintains the print collateral portfolio for all event programs.

Childers joined INPUT as a research associate, and was responsible for supporting and organizing the data collection of public sector information, and utilizing Web information and primary research techniques to identify, qualify and describe procurement opportunities, contracts, contacts, and vendor information. She also assisted in the delivery of high-quality and timely responses to specific federal business opportunity member inquiries.

Previously, Childers was a marketing coordinator for IMAKE Software and Services in Bethesda, Md., a technology firm that served multiple industries, where she was responsible for all business-to-business marketing initiatives.

Childers is also an active member of Gamma Phi Beta Sorority Alumni, Northern Virginia Chapter. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from George Mason University.
