Event Registration and Credit Card Transactions
Event Registration
When you register for an INPUT event, we may request additional information such as credit card number and expiration date. This information is used for confirmation and billing purposes. The contact information you provide is used to service the order. Also, when you register for an event, we may request additional information such as event suggestions, speaker questions and others. This information is used only for the specific event.
INPUT uses a third-party service provider, Verisign, for credit card processing and may use varying third-party service providers for shipping, mail house and event coordinator services together with other service providers as required to satisfy client requests.
When you register for an event, we provide necessary information to hotels and to facilities hosting events but no personal or credit card information will be shared. Third party event support may have access to personal information but only to provide services relevant to the event.
Credit Card Transactions
Credit card information is collected on our site via a fully secure form (using SSL encryption). Credit card information is not stored on our Web site and is used only for the specific authorized transaction. This credit card information is then verified via electronic means or via telephone with Verisign and securely discarded after approval of the transaction.
